Ford will be releasing performance parts to enhance the look, sound and driving properties for their performance models. The news coincides with the upcoming Essen Motor Show. Ford Performance Parts are available for order from 1st of December for Focus ST, RS and GT models. These parts are developed with collaboration from different specialists such as Borla, KW, Remus, and Roush. The features of these parts comprises of adjustable coilover strut and shock absorbers. The absorbers reduce the ride height by 40mm and it also comes with light alloy wheels that significantly reduce the weight.
High-grade stainless steel exhaust systems are available for track-only and road-legal versions. Ford Performance range comes with a special gearshift knob selection along with carbon fiber and unique short-shift gear linkage just for six-speed manual Mustang. This tweak reduces gearshift time by 20 percent. It is offered in three stages for 5.0 liter Mustang V8 engine and is Performance Calibration Power Packs. It enhances the boost unit’s revolution limit to 7,500 rpm. The powertrain can work in conjugation with supercharger kit that comes from Roush Performance.
This feature is compatible with six-speed manual as well as automatic gearboxes. It improves the output to 592 horsepower. Ford Performance Drift Stick Concept is presented for European market for the first time. It is build and developed for Focus RS and is approved by Ken Block. The electronic handbrake is rally inspired that use vehicle’s Drift Mode for clutch free drift turns, just like any other rally car.
