There is no better sight in the world than a supercar driven on the beautiful scenic surroundings. Over the years, Ford has released a series of video that shows its car driven in such beautiful European roads and now they have another one up their sleeves. In the new 11 minutes video clip, Steve Sutcliffe is behind one such vehicle. If you are wondering which car is that, then it is none other than Ford GT. We have already seen Ford Mustang, Fiesta ST and Focus RS in clips before and it’s time for GT and the place for it was in Atlantic Ocean Road.
This road is situated is Norway is heavily governed. The track is known as Arctic Circle Raceway and Sutcliffe managed to create a lap record there using the Ford GT. This bright yellow covered car with black stripes supercar took to the northern most circuit of the world. The track is 2.3 miles long with lots of twists and turns. Another great thing about driving Ford GT is that it cannot be overheat because of the cold climate. Steve Sutcliffe didn’t attempt the record and passed the keys to Stefan Mücke. He is Ford’s factory racing driver and winner of six FIA World Endurance Championship races.
For starters, we must remind you that this supercar is powered with 3.5 liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine. The hardware gives out an output of 647hp and 550lb-ft of torque. The top speed of Ford GT is 216 mph. Annual production of the car has been limited to 250 units for now. The price of the Ford GT won’t be on the low side as the limited production makes it a rare entity. It’s time to forget all these factors and feast your eyes on the car on the beautiful track of Norway.
