If you are interested in purchasing almost new Saab which is also last of a kind, then you are in luck. NEVS is planning on auctioning a five-year old car that is almost as new. The model in question is Saab 9-3 Turbo sedan. It can be seen on display at NEVS in Trollhattan during the Saab Car Museum festival that is scheduled between 7 to 9th June. The auction for Saab 9-3 Turbo will be held later this year. If one recalls, Saab stopped the production at its plant in the year 2011. Nonetheless, by the start of December 2013, NEVS re-launched production of 9-3 Aero Sedan with petrol engine.
Final batch of Saabs were made in the original factory that used original parts which were sourced from around 400 suppliers. In the period of 2013 to 2014, NEVS built just 420 cars and it includes the model which is going to be auctioned soon. Starting price of Saab 9-3 sedan and terms of sale will be published at later date, probably when auction date is near. Now, many car enthusiasts around the world don’t know much about this Saab 9-3, it was built in the year 2014 and came with silver exterior.
Power in the Saab 9-3 is derived from turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine. It offers an output of 217hp and 350Nm of torque and is mated with six-speed automatic transmission. What makes it more interesting is that the engine traveled just 3 miles. Many may call it almost unused and they won’t be further away from the truth. For now, we will have to wait NEVS to reveal fell spec along with gallery so that prospective buyers get interested.
