For those who are not familiar, Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2 has been inspired from Speedsters from the year 1950s and 1960s. It rides on Ferrari 812 Superfast’s platform. They are the part of Ferrari’s new Icona series of limited-edition models. Hence, it has a vintage look along with modern technology.
Single-seater SP1 and two-seater SP2 heavily uses carbon fiber to keep the weight to the minimum. Both of the models are powered with 6.5 liter V12 engine that is rated at 809 horsepower. The hardware enables it to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 2.9 seconds and hit 0-124mph in 7.9 seconds. The top speed is in excess of 186 mph. Even with wild bodywork and stunning interior features, both of them are road legal. To enhance the comfort capability, Ferrari incorporates a tech that they call Virtual Wind Shield. This setup diverts the airflow away from the occupants and thus, they don’t feel fatigued from feeling of wind hitting them.
If buyers are lucky enough to get any of the Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2, they will have to shell out $1.75 million.
