After making an impressive debut at Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari has released official video of their new F8 Tributo. What makes Ferrari F8 Tributo so special is the fact that it is mid-engine supercar and hence, world took notice of it. Ferrari’s latest supercar wants to take away the performance crown from McLaren 720S. At this point of time, this claim may seem superficial as no one has driven it to understand its capabilities. Nonetheless, official spec of Ferrari F8 Tributo makes a good reading and also the latest official video.
In an attempt to showcase F8 Tributo true colors, the video shows it on mountainous area and racing track. With the help of Manettino dials, Ferrari F8 Tributo can be turned from a calm road car into a rapturous beast. Under the hood of Ferrari F8 Tributo, there is twin-turbocharged 3.9 liter V8 engine. It offers an output of 710 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. These figures are identical to the Ferrari 488 Pista. Ferrari claims that F8 Tributo can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 2.9 seconds and 124mph in 7.8 seconds before hitting the top speed of 211 mph.
Even though many might be impressed bythe performance of the mid-engine supercar, but there is an issue with it which is concerning for many fans. Ferrari is still keeping the aluminum platform which is decade old from 458 Italia. However, it would be wrong to state that Ferrari F8 Tributo is revamped version of 488 GTB that itself is an updated version of 458 Italia. Without further ado, we are presenting official video of the Italian automaker’s F8 Tributo.
