It has been created exclusively by Tailor Made division with “Piloti Ferrari” specification. No matter which color is chosen, Piloti Ferrari is different from other Pista by the “51” number. This number signifies AF Corse’s vehicle number 51 that triumphed last year in 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). It was driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado. This special edition of Ferrari 488 Pista also gets an Italian flag on the motif just like the 488 GTE race and includes laurel to celebrate 2017 WEC success. “PRO” lettering indicates the class in which the car had raced. Other noticeable exterior changes on the Ferrari 488 Pista includes S-duct finished in matte black and naked carbon fiber look of the rear spoiler along with vent that has similar finish.
The cabin also gets touches such as Pista’s seats upholstered in black Alcantara, along with bespoke perforated configuration with the Italian flag embedded in the central band of the backrest. On the edge of the gearshift paddles and on the floor mats, Italy’s Tricolore theme has been applied. Powering the special edition of Ferrari 488 Pista is 3.9 liter V8 engine. The engine churns out 710 horsepower and 770Nm of torque. Ferrari claims that it can accelerate 0-62mph in 2.85 seconds before reaching the top speed in excess of 211mph.
