We have few weird supercars up for auction or sale in recent times, but it would be hard for anyone to top this particular example. It is called E.C. OnlyOne P8 and comes from James Edition. Apart from the weird name, this supercar has new carbon-aluminum handmade body and under it lays Ferrari F430’s platform. E.C. OnlyOne P8 might still be equipped with naturally aspirated 4.3 liter V8 engine which is mated with six-speed manual gearbox. Quoted output of this supercar is 600 horsepower at 8,640 rpm. This figure is an increase of 110hp compared to F430.
The figure is quite impressive considering the weight of the E.C. OnlyOne P8 is 1,200kg. In other words, it is 150kg lighter than the dry weight of Ferrari’s sibling. E.C. OnlyOne P8 has been designed to make it look like a race car from the 70s. Thus, it has gullwing doors that facilitate ingress and egress. Additionally, nose-lift system raises the front end by 60mm at a push of a button. Nonetheless, comfort features have not been excluded and air conditioner along with reverse camera has been included. Parking sensors, Alcantara and leather upholstery, and carbon fiber and aluminum trim are also made available for the benefit of the driver.
The man behind the E.C. OnlyOne P8 project is Enea Casoni and this were the name is derived from. Enea Casoni is a former racing driver and built the supercar near Bologna, Italy. He has raced the supercar at Gumball 3000 and now wants to part ways with his beloved machine. Since, it car revolve around a former racing driver and OnlyOne P8, the asking price is staggeringly high. He is asking for a whopping €2.5 million or $2.85 million in current exchange price. It is as high as the used cars such as Ferrari LaFerrari or Bugatti Veyron.
