After months of speculations rumors, Bugatti has finally revealed a new teaser video of their “next great project”. This vehicle will make its debut at “The Quail – A Motorsports Gathering” on August 16th. It is reported that it will be called Bugatti EB110 Hommage, but nothing is official as of yet. Bugatti didn’t reveal any details of the model, but the teaser video showcases that it is heavily influenced by EB110. It is evident because it adopts a retro-inspired front fascia with a smaller horseshoe grille. Additional details are not easy to fund out, but previous glimpse suggest that it will have a rakish windscreen, a compact greenhouse and a low roof.
The model is also expected to have slab-sided bodywork that is reminiscence of original Bugatti EB110. Without divulging any details, the teaser video from Bugatti suggested that the limited-edition supercar will be a 110% Legend, a 110% Passion and a 110% Excellence. Tim Bravo, Bugatti’s head of communications aid that company is very excited about this new world premiere. He is eagerly waiting for its debut this Friday. Since, nothing has been made official, previous reports suggested that the model will draw inspiration from the Bugatti EB110 SS and will be limited to just 10 units. Rumoured pricing of this limited-edition Bugatti supercar is reported to be around $8.9 million.
Since, successor of Bugatti EB110 is likely to be based on Chiron. Hence, it might have a quad turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces an output of 1,479 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque. This setup helps stock model to sprint from 0-62mph in 2.4 seconds and achieves a top speed of 261 mph. For now, just enjoy the short teaser and wait for few more hours to see what Bugatti has under their sleeves.
