Bugatti is bringing the all-new Chiron Sport for its North American debut at New York Auto Show. This is the newest version of Bugatti Chiron is claiming to have sharper handling and better agility. For those customers who want even a hotter version of Chiron can look at this version. It completed the Nardo test track five seconds faster than the stock version of Bugatti Chiron. Bugatti Chiron Sport will be coming with unchanged quad-turbo W16 unit and it will offer 1,500 horsepower. The company have left the cassis components unchanged.
Bugatti have concentrated more on other factors such as suspension is now utilizing 10 percent stiffer dampers and the steering system is calibrated. Bugatti claims that when the Handling mode is engaged suspension changes take effect. Usage of more carbon-fiber also helped this hypercar. To top it off, Bugatti Chiron Sport features new lightweight alloy wheels and also world’s first carbon fiber windscreen wipers. All these factors helps the Bugatti Chiron Sport make it lighter by 18kg than the stock version. Bugatti has also inculcated Dynamic Torque Vectoring and a retuned rear differential.
The interior of Bugatti Chiron Sport is exposed to carbon-fiber elements and there is also special badging of “Chiron Sport” on door sills and center console. If anyone happens to be customer of Chiron, Bugatti is more than happy to convert it into Sport specifications. The base price of Bugatti Chiron Sport starts from $3.26 million in United States. The price includes custom duties, transport, taxes and other fees. The deliveries of first customer cars will commence by end of this year.
