We have already shown you the track car Brabham BT62 and seen what a terrific. But many wonder what would a street version look like and the good news is that it is under their planning. David Brabham in an interview to Motoring disclosed the fact when asked about a road-going version of BT62. It is not quite confirmation for now, but something to be excited about. The debut project Brabham Automotive is BT62. Under the hood of Barbham BT62, there is naturally aspirated 5.4 liter V8 engine.
The hardware setup enables to offer an output of 700 horsepower and 667 Nm of torque. The stats are quite high, but it would great fun to ride. The weight stands at just 972kg which is appropriate for track version. The road going version will be much heavier and there is a good chance it will be less powerful than track-going version. The suspension will be bit higher and little bit sifter as it is not that powerful. Nonetheless, it is anticipated that it will be deliver an impressive output.
It is not for first time when exotic automakers are coming up such concept. Pininfarina H2 Speed and Fittipaldi Motors EF7 are two such examples. We haven’t heard about Fittipaldi Motors, but Pininfarina is moving steadily towards road cars. At this point of time, we only hope we get to see Brabham BT62 on roads soon.
