Brabham have confirmed the official pricing and details of the BT62 Competition spec. It will be used as Brabham’s endurance racing debut at Brands Hatch on 9-10th November. Brabham BT62 Competition will be offered along with Road Compliant Conversion and Ultimate Track car. Price of BT62 Competition spec in UK starts from £750,000 without taxes. For the price, buyers would get a ready-made stripped back version for racing. At the time of delivery, it would come sans Initial Spares pack and passenger seat, but these are available as separate options which can be ordered.
Brabham BT62 Competition retains lightweight carbon-chromoly safety cell with integrated roll cage. There are also carbon-on-carbon brakes, motorsport ABS and traction control. With help from advanced aerodynamics, it gives 1,200kg of downforce. Brabham BT62 Competition can be opted with left or right-hand drive and wears Celebration bespoke wrap that joins Signature livery. BT62 Competition also features a pneumatic jacking system, center-locking wheels, race-ready gauge display and removable multi-function steering wheel.
Brabham BT62 Competition packs a punch with naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V8 engine. The engine setup produces an impressive 700 horsepower (710PS/ 522kW) and 667 Nm (492 lb-ft) of torque. Regardless of whether it is road-legal or track-legal, the aforementioned performance figures are similar to all versions of the hypercar.
