Even though new BMW X2 is quite new but still a tuning company, Dahler found a way to tweak it in a quest for more power. Dahler main offering comprises of judicious power upgrades for petrol (118i and 120i) and diesel (18d and 20d) models. The petrol unit of BMW X2 now offers 156 horsepower and 264Nm of torque and 220 horsepower and 340Nm of torque. It is an increment of 22hp and 31hp respectively over the stock versions and doesn’t affect emissions standard according to Dahler.
When it comes to diesel variants of tuning version offers 172 horsepower and 390Nm of torque and 217 horsepower and 450Nm of torque respectively. If we compare these numbers with the BMW X2 stock version, it is an increase of 24hp and 30hp respectively. German based tuning is also offering different exhaust systems with individually selectable tailpipes along with new sport springs and tuned shock absorbers. The ride height of tuned BMW X2 has been reduced and suspension parts claims to decrease swaying tendency and also reduce crosswind sensitivity.
Fortunately or unfortunately, no aftermarket body kit has been provided by the tuner. However, new set of wheels are being offer by Dahler for the BMW X2. It comes with different styles and has sizes of 20 and 21 inches respectively. At this point of time, we still don’t know the cost of these upgrades.
