BMW will be launching all-new M8 Coupe in Australia in first quarter of 2020. This luxury high-performance GT will be available in Competition spec and priced from AUD $352,900. For an additional price of AUD $10,300, buyers would get M Carbon Exterior Package whereas for AUD $16,500, they would get M Carbon Ceramic Brakes and BMW Individual metallic paintwork. In this package, several no-cost options are available including AUD $10,400 Pure Metal Silver. Exterior of BMW M8 is characterized by sculpted body with large air intakes at the front, CFRP roof with double bubble design, specific side mirror caps and 20-inch alloy wheels in several patterns.
Interior of BMW M8 can be had in either carbon fiber or BW Individual piano black trim, Merino leather upholstery, front sports seats with heating and ventilation, wireless smartphone charging, night vision, and velour floor mats. Moreover, there is also infotainment system digital dials and several others. Standard options include display key, soft-close doors, electric-operated bootlid, connected services, DAB tuner, Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, M Competition Package and M Driver’s Package.
Talking about the powertrain in BMW M8, it comes with twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine. It generates an output of 617hp and 750 Nm of torque. Engine is fitted with M Sport exhaust system, Active M differential and double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension. Three driving models are available which are Road, Sport, and Track modes. The latter mode enhances every aspect that includes throttle response to suspension, brakes and M xDrive all-wheel drive system.
