It has been 11 years when the first and only M3 with V8 powertrain was launched. BMW M3 E92 came with naturally-aspirated 4.0 liter V8 engine that gave 414 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The output may not seem impressive as of today if compared with current mega hatch with half the engine size. Even though it may be astounding to hold on to such car, but it won’t be able to compete against current sports car. Thankfully, tuning company G-Power manages to bump out extra power from the BMW M3 E9X.
With their supercharger system, the output of BMW M3 E92 is increased to 493 horsepower. This particular upgrade is the part of “35 Years Edition” Anniversary series. It is said that it improves response of the engine and won’t burn a huge hole in your pocket. This upgrade will only cost €2,999 which is around $3,700. Not many people know that this isn’t the first time of G-Power foray into M3, be it E90, E92, or E93 (Sedan, Coupe, and Convertible respectively). They are known to make the most out ofV8 engine. One of their best achievements was tuning an old M3 and turning into a supercar.
The tuned version delivered an output of 710 horsepower and 650Nm of torque. However, this modification came at a huge price of €39,950. For this same amount one can purchase new BMW 4-Series Coupe in Germany. If customer is willing to shell out an amount of €8,999, the tuning company will make the car deliver 621hp and 590Nm of torque. If one add extra amount they can get new 2-Seires Coupe for €30,300.
