AC Schnitzer has two surprises for the visitors at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed and both these targets BMW 8-Series Coupe. First of them is a brand-new homologated carbon fiber rear spoiler for improved downforce. Second is the stainless-steel sports silencer with four carbon tailpipes. Both these products complement a wide range of updates of AC Schnitzer for the G14/G15 8-Series Coupe. Before we divulge into any other details, let us first discuss about the power outputs by the German based tuning company.
Power in the Diesel-powered BMW 840d has been increased from 315hp to 375hp whereas BMW M850i output has been increased from 522hp to 612hp. Other modification in the tuned BMW 8-Series includes spring kit that lowers the car by 0.75 inches, along with custom made wheels that measures 20-inches in diameter available for AC1 and AC3 models. There are also aero elements that consist of carbon front spoiler elements, front splitter (homologated and racing), carbon side wings, hood vents with carbon inserts, side skirts, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler. For racing purpose, a more extreme carbon “Racing” rear wing is also offered.
BMW 8-Series also gets interior mods and is evident by the aluminum pedals, footrest and key holder, for a more personalized and sporty ambiance.
