Bentley have unveiled all-electric EXP 100 GT Concept. This luxury gran turismo is designed to showcase how future models would look like in the year 2035. EXP 100 GT Concept also marks company’s centenary. Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept features fully electric powertrain with four electric motors, and a torque vectoring system. Combined output of this setup is 1,340hp and 1,491 Nm of torque. Bentley claims that all-electric gran turismo is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than 2.5 seconds before hitting the top speed of 186 mph.
Future battery technology is expected to be five times better than the current energy density; it is not surprising that EXP 100 GT Concept is said to be capable of charging to 80 percent of capacity in just 15 minutes. Drivable range of the Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept is set at 435 miles on a full charge. Considering the size of the car, weight of the car stands at just 1,900 kg which is highly impressive. Dimensions of the Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept is 5.8 meters long and 2.4 meters wide. It will give the concept a commanding presence on the road for future.
One of the most interesting aspect of the concept is the presence of on-board artificial intelligence Personal Assistant. Bentley claims that system will pre-empt passenger needs and can maximize comfort based on its knowledge of its owner that includes controlling the seat surfaces to offer more support during driving. Moreover, open-air cabin also features embedded biometrics to track eye and head movements along with blood pressure that gives us a glimpse what future bespoke luxury vehicles would offer. Interior has three different seating configuration that depends on whether autonomous driving is enabled or not.
