It has been over a month after Bentley online revealed EXP 100 GT Concept. Now, it has made US debut at Monterey Car Week. For this occasion, Bentley took some snapshot on Monterey Peninsula. Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept celebrates company’s centenary and it was befitting to makes its presence by visiting Monterey. It was first showcased at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering before moving to Home of Bentley. Lastly, it was a star attraction at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on the Concept Lawn.
Apart from Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept, several other models, old and new was present at different events around Monterey. As a part of special Centenary Parade, around 21 models lapped the Laguna Seca Raceway. Among them were three 1929 4.5-liter Blowers, record-breaking Pikes Peak Bentley Continental GT and the new Continental GT V8 Convertible. Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance had more than 60 different Bentley models competing in six individual classes across the show field. At this event, 1931 8 Liter Gurney Nutting Sports Tourer was given the prestigious honor of “Best of Show.”
Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept won’t go into production and company stated that it just previews the types of vehicles Bentley wants to make in future. EXP 100 GT Concept incorporates all-electric powertrain supported by four electric motors. It offers a combined output of 1,340hp and 1,491 Nm of torque. Bentley claims that it can accelerate from 0-62mph in under 2.5 seconds and reaches top speed of 186mph. On full charge, Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept can travel 435 miles with weight standing at just 1,900 kg.
