The sportiest version of Audi’s SUV by the name of SQ5 was launched earlier this year. It was powered using the 3.0 liter TFSI V6 engine. The engine is paired with eight-speed automatic gearbox which gave us an output of 350 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Audi SQ5 comes with Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard. It can accelerate to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The figures of the car are not at all bad, but for ABT Sportline it was not enough. The German tuning company that deals with SEAT, Skoda and Volkswagen, gave more power to the SQ5.
The new Audi SQ5 is now 20 percent more powerful than the standard model. It is still a mystery what the tuner did with this car. Nonetheless, the output is pushed to 419 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. In other words, it is an increment of 70hp and 50 Nm of torque. They have also worked on the exterior of Audi SQ5 but the upgrades are not ready yet. However, the report suggests that wheels options are provided in 20 and 21 inches of diameter. It will have different pattern and also come in various finishes.
ABT Sportline hasn’t forgotten about the 2nd gen Audi Q5. They reported that a new injection to the 2.0 liter TFSI engine. It will give an output of 248 horsepower. A small but important power bump is also planned for 2.0 liter TDI engine. It will increase the output to 212 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque from the earlier 187 hp and 400 Nm torque.
