The Carbon Edition will make the car lighter and offers more carbon fiber parts. The Carbon Edition from Audi includes carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) parts such as on front spoiler, sill extensions, a diffuser insert, door mirror housings, and interior inlays. For Audi RS5 Coupe, it is present on the exposed roof as well as on the rear spoiler. Audi is also offering 20 inch alloy wheels that are exclusive for Carbon Edition and it saves 8kg.
The Carbon Editions of Audi RS4 and RS5 save around 80kg and 60 kg respectively if compared to the standard models. There are other tweaks present on the car which are matt aluminium finish for radiator grille, window surrounds and on front horizontal under grille bar. Audi RS4 and RS5 Carbon Edition will be offered in RS Matrix LED headlamps, a Quattro sport differential and fine Nappa leather sports seats covered in black. To give it a contrasting look, red stitching can be found on the seat.
Under the hood, the car is powered with 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 444 horsepower and 600Nm of torque. With Audi RS5 Coupe, it can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 3.9 seconds whereas for RS4 Avant it takes 4.1 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited and stops at 155mph. However, with right package, the top speed can be increased to 174mph. The price of the RS4 Avant and RS5 Coupe Carbon Edition is set at £71,625 and £75,400 respectively. The pricing is exclusively for UK market and is an increase of £10,000 and £12,500 than standard model.
