A tuned version of Audi RS5 by ABT is coming to Geneva Motor Show. Dubbed as Audi RS5-R, it will be limited production and only 50 units will be produced. It will be powered with 2.9 liter biturbo V6 engine. It has been tweaked to produce an enhanced output of 523 horsepower and 690Nm of torque. If one compares this figure from the stock version, it is an increment of 79hp and 90Nm of torque. All this changes helps the Audi RS5-R to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.6 seconds which is an improvement of 0.3 seconds.
Audi RS5-R also comes with upgrades suspension with sport stabilizers and height adjustable springs. The tuning company claims that they are going to add special coilover suspension as it is under development for now with the collaboration with KW. There are some additional features in it such as tweaked grille, front apron, side skirt add-ons, and wheel arch vents. Other feature comprises of rear diffuser with incorporated quad exhaust pipes and is enhanced with special green shade. The 19 inch wheels are replaced by 21 inch wheels and is wrapped with 275/25 tires.
Till now, the interior images of the Audi RS5-R have not been released. Nonetheless, they did reveal that it will have partial leather seats, RS5-R logo, ABT gear shift cover made from carbon fiber, and ‘1 of 50’ plaque, and several other features. As mentioned previously, Audi RS5-R will make its international debut on 6th March and after two days it will be showcased to the public.
