Audi is working round the clock on the new era SUV Sportback. Its production is set to begin in the year 2019. The new SUV will signal the futuristic design of upcoming electric SUV. Few days back, we got gold of the Q1 concept and now we have with the new Audi Q4 e-tron Concept. Last year, Audi trademarked all the names from Q1 to Q9 and till now they have used Q2, Q3 and Q5. In other words, Q1, Q4, Q6, Q7, Q8 and Q9 haven’t been used on any production vehicle. If rumors are to be believed, it will take years to see all the mentioned names in production form.
The German car maker has already announced that the Q4 will hit the production line in the year 2019. It is set to rival the coupe forms of BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. Keeping aside all the information, a designer by the name of Lorenzo Mariotti has come with Audi Q4 e-tron Concept. Even though the concept is hypothetical it is heavily inspired by Prologue concept. It shows Audi Q4 e-tron Concept with massive wheels and high tech body. On the front, Audi Q4 e-tron Concept ditches its traditional grille and installs small air intakes and horizontal headlights.
Some might even say that the Audi Q4 e-tron Concept takes design cues from the e-Tron Sportback SUV concept. It doesn’t have conventional door handles just like Q8 which gives it a clean side profile. However, the designer also discarded the mirrors from it. On the back, there is roof mounted spoiler and LED brake light. Adjustable air suspension gives it a taller ride and has generous ground clearance. The designer mentioned that it will have electric powertrain.
