Audi has unveiled one of the highly anticipated E-Tron GT Concept at Los Angeles Auto Show. Judging by the first look, it will enthral the world with its stunning design. It shares same measurement to that of Audi A7 but is lot more aggressive. E-Tron GT Concept is 16.2 feet long, 6.43 feet wide and 4.5 feet tall with wheelbase of 9.5 feet. Audi E-Tron GT Concept is born out of collaboration with Porsche and Audi Sport. It shares the same platform as Porsche Taycan and also battery pack. Precise driving range has not been disclosed, but we expect this fully electric E-Tron GT to have 248 miles between charging.
With the help of 800V system it can achieve 80% charging in just 20 minutes that offers 199 miles of range. Acceleration of Audi E-Tron GT Concept can take on RS models with ease. Total power output is 590hp or 434kW with a help of dual motors. The production version is expected to accelerate from 0-62mph in around 3.5 seconds and 124mph in over 12 seconds. Top speed is limited to 149mph for EV range. Performance figures aren’t the only impressive thing about this concept. Nonetheless, visual difference between the concept and production-ready model that is set to arrive in 2020. Initial deliveries of the E-Tron GT will commence from 2021.
Front of the Audi E-Tron GT Concept is dominated by hexagonal grille, Matrix LED headlights with lightning bolt-like graphics and a sporty-looking bumper design. It rides on large 22-inch alloy wheels with 285/30 tires. Concept is missing out on door handles but the production model might have it. There are also large air intakes in Audi E-Tron GT Concept for proper cooling of battery pack. This electric sedan has minimalist design and majority of the surfaces has some type of touchscreen functionality apart from gauges cluster which is fully digital. When it arrives, the EV sedan is set to have Level 3 autonomous functionality with wide range of connectivity.
