The major difference with Vantage AMR and regular model is the former comes with motorsport inspired seven-speed manual transmission from Graziano. The gearbox features a dog-leg first gear with second to seventh gears in a traditional double H-pattern configuration. Transmission is mated with limited-slip differential that powers the rear wheels. Under ideal conditions, Aston Martin Vantage AMR is able to accelerate 0 to 60mph in 3.9 seconds before hitting the top speed of 195 mph. The sports car’s gearbox is fitted with AMSHIFT. The system uses clutch, gear position, and prop shaft sensors offers smooth head-and-toe downshifts. Another advantage of AMSHIFT is it enables drivers to change through gears at full speed without keeping feet off the accelerator pedal.
