Alfa Romeo has introduced Stelvio Ti to their UK range that replaces Milano Edizione as range -topping model of this SUV range. It will complement Quadrifoglio variant. Suffix Ti stands for ‘Turismo Internazionale’ and features such as carbon fiber accents, a sports suspension and a host of driver assistance systems. Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti is easily distinguishable from lesser variants with help from carbon-fiber ‘V’ front grille and door mirrors along with darker ‘Stelvio’ and ‘Q4’ badging. There is also red brake calipers and new 20-inch alloy wheels that is exclusive to this version.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti also consist of a leather dashboard, laminated glass for additional soundproofing, a hands-free tailgate, Active Cruise Control and FSD dampers. It improves handling without affecting comfort. Italian automaker is also offering active suspension as an option. Buyers can choose between two powertrains. There is a turbocharged petrol 2.0-liter four-cylinder offering 276hp and 400 Nm of torque and a 2.2-liter diesel unit offering 207hp and 470 Nm of torque. Both these engines are combined with Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Petrol version of Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti is able sprint 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds with top speed of 143mph. Diesel version is slightly slower and takes 6.6 seconds to 0-62 mph and achieves top speed of 134mph.
