After months of teasers and rumours, Ford Mustang finally unveiled 2021 Mach-E. For those who don’t know, it is an all-electric SUV and features an aggressive front fascia and a fully enclosed grille. The latter is surrounded by slender LED lighting units and sporty lower bumper. This aggressive design language continues on the back and is evident by rakish windscreen, coupe-like roofline and softly curved surfaces. 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E also boats bulging rear fenders, a dynamic greenhouse and hidden door handles. Rear of the all-electric crossover is not charming and has bloated tailgate with Mustang-inspired taillights. 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E has rakish rear window, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and black lower bumper. Exterior closely resembles Mustang whereas interior looks like Ford Explorer. Hence, Mustang Mach-E includes high quality materials and an improved design. Drivers uses Mustang-branded steering wheel and will look at a freestanding 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster. On its right, there is 15.5inch touchscreen infotainment system with portrait orientation. Moreover, there is a stylish dashboard with slender air vents and aluminum like trim.
Options in 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E consist of a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, ambient lighting and a panoramic glass roof. Buyers can also opt for a heated steering wheel, heated front seats and alloy pedals. This electric SUV has front trunk and offers 136 liters of space. Rear luggage compartment provides capacity of 821 miles and can be expanded to 1,688 liters when rear seats are folded down. Entry level variant of 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is Select grade and is priced at $43,895 before tax credits of up to $7,500. It can be availed in all-wheel and rear drive and both of them features 75.7 kWh battery pack with an output of 255hp. All-wheel drive version gives around 565 Nm of torque whereas rear-wheel gives 414 Nm of torque. Moreover, all-wheel drive takes mid-five seconds to hit 0-60mph with range of 210 miles and rear-wheel drive takes about six seconds to hit 0-60mph and range of approximately 230 miles.
The next trim is Premium and is priced from $50,600 ad comes with standard and long-range configurations and with/without all-wheel drive. It is same as Select trim but has large 98.8 kWh battery. Rear-wheel drive gains more power and offers 282hp and 414Nm of torque. It is able to accelerate from 0-60mph in mid six second range and estimated driving range of 300 miles. All-wheel drive version generates 333hp and 565 Nm of torque and takes mid five seconds to hit 0-60mph. Range is also decreased and is around 270 miles. Then there is 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E First Edition priced from $59,900 and is an all-wheel drive. It uses the same powertrain and develops 333hp and 565 Nm of torque with range of 270 miles. Lastly, there is high-performance 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT which is priced from $60,500. It will have an output f 459hp and 830 Nm of torque. It comes with an exclusive all-wheel drive and 98.8 kWh battery. Since, performance is prioritized range is around 235 miles but takes mid three seconds for 0-60mph. 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will arrive by next year but reservations can be made for $500 deposit. Buyers of Select and GT variant would have to wait longer as it is scheduled for 2021.
