We have another Skoda teaser to show which is Superb Scout. Teaser of the 2020 Skoda Superb Scout reveals its outer line and will make its global debut this Thursday in Bratislava, Slovakia. It will be accompanied by facelifted Skoda Superb. Judging by the teaser, 2020 Skoda Superb Scout has high ground clearance and there is good probability that bumpers along with wheel arches and door sills would have some plastic cladding along. 2020 Superb Scout will be an all-wheel drive system. Like other Superb lineup, Scout will feature full LED Matrix headlights with incorporated DRLs and Coming/Leaving home function.
Taillights of the 2020 Skoda Superb Scout would have dynamic indicator which was preview in earlier teaser released by the automaker. Apart from these changes, we are expecting bumper revisions and SUPERB lettering in the middle of the tailgate. In the latest video, the vehicle gives us a glimpse of range-topping version of new Laurin&Klement. This includes several exclusive items such as soft-touch materials and special L&K badges, and a generous list of standard gear. As a part of model’s refresh, a new infotainments system with standard smartphone integration has been included.
The facelifted version of Skoda Superb includes an addition of plug-in hybrid powertrain. This is Skoda’s first PHEV model and is set to have zero-emission driving mode with up to 31 miles. The same unit is also used on its parent company’s vehicle i.e. Volkswagen Passat GTE. The total generated output is 215hp and 400 Nm of torque. It is possible with the combination of 1.4-liter turbocharged four with an electric motor.
