Porsche has unveiled 2020 911 Cabriolet, two months after revealing coupe at Los Angeles Auto Show. As you would have expected, 2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet has automatic soft top with a lightweight structure which has magnesium. It ensures that roof is not blow away at high speed. The roof also features an integrated glass rear window. With the help of new hydraulic, the roof now open and closes lot quicker than its predecessor. The overall process takes 12 seconds and roof can be closed and opened at speed up to 31mph. A wind reflector ensures that driver is comfortable when the top is down.
2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet will be offered in tow variant which are Carrera S and Carrera 4S. Both of them will feature 3.0 liter twin-turbo flat-six engine which offers an output of 443hp and 530Nm of torque. The engine works in conjugation with eight-speed dual-clutch transmission which helps Carrera S to accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds before reaching the top speed of 190mph. The all-wheel drive option takes less time and achieves the same in 3.6 seconds but the top speed is limited to 188mph. 2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet promises to offer better driving experience than its predecessor as it has higher torsional rigidity and Porsche Active Suspension Management system.
The design of the 2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is similar to the coupe and looks like evolutionary styling. It is evident from rear light bar and a larger rear spoiler. It also has stylish wheel which measures 20 inch at front and 21 inch at back. The cabin comprises of analog and digital instrument cluster with 10.9 inch infotainment system. The only difference is dedicated controls to open and close the roof. 2020 Porsche 911 Cabriolet is accepting orders and will be launched later this year. Price of Carrera S Cabriolet in US starts from $126,000 and for 4S, it is $133,400. The pricing excludes $1250 of delivery, processing and handling fees.
