At the upcoming 2019 New York Auto Show, Nissan will showcase a special version. Dubbed as 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition and pays homage to 240Z. It was about half a century ago, Datsun 240Z made its US debut. The special Anniversary Edition pays tribute to #46 Brock Racing Enterprises (BRE) 240Z which was driven by John Morton. The car won several SCCA National Championships. 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition is based on 370Z Sport and sports two-tone livery that mimics the BRE race car. Buyers can also it in white red accents or silver with black accents.
Whichever model is selected, 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition will come with contrasting paint on their hood, trunk, mirrors and A-pillars. It will also flaunt side stripes, 50th Anniversary badging and special 19-inch alloy wheels with red accents. The interior of the car is kept same but some special changes has been applied to it. For instance, there are leather and suede seats with unique stitching and embossed 50th Anniversary logos. The seats are heated and features four-way adjustment. Additionally, there is also dark chrome accents and synthetic suede door panel inserts. Customers can easily spot Z-branded door sill plates, an 8-speaker Bose audio system and a 50th Anniversary logo on the tachometer.
2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition is powered with 3.7-liter V6 engine that offers an output of 322hp and 366 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with standard six-speed manual transmission with SynchroRev Match technology, but seven-speed automatic transmission is also available. Regardless of which transmission is used, generated power is transferred to rear wheels via limited slip differential. 2020 Nissan 370Z 50th Anniversary Edition will go on sale later this month and pricing detail is yet to be revealed.
