Lincoln will make its global premiere of the 2020 Corsair at 2019 New York Auto Show. The company didn’t reveal details about the new SUV, but they released a teaser image of it. 2020 Lincoln Corsair is an official replacement of the MKC’s replacement and it is brand’s smallest SUV. Judging by the recent prototype, aesthetics of it seems like a small Aviator with a simpler lower styling at the front, LED headlights and an evolved clam-shell tailgate. Sportier look of the 2020 Lincoln Corsair is attributed to sloping roofline.
Cabin of the 2020 Lincoln Corsair is said to be more luxurious than before. It will have chrome and wood trim, with high quality leather. Buyers who are willing to shell out more for 2020 Lincoln Corsair can also opt for Black Label package. It mimics the equipment that is found on larger sibling. The SUV would come with SYNC3 infotainment system, customizable LCD instrument cluster, smartphone integration and several other technologies to make riding more enjoyable. 2020 Lincoln Corsair on completely new platform.
It is highly likely that it might get Ford Escape’s engine option. Few available options include 2.0-liter EcoBoost with 245 horsepower, 2.3-liter turbo and 2.5-liter PHEV with more than 285 hp. Base models will be equipped with front-wheel drive whereas all-wheel drive system would be an option. Don’t be surprise if Lincoln starts taking order for the new Corsair. It will be pitted against BMW X3, Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC and others.
