Lamborghini has showcased the new Huracan Evo Coupe and Spyder in New York for its North American debut at an exclusive event. The latest 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo is powered with naturally aspirated updated 5.2 liter V10 engine. It produces an output of 640hp at 8,000rpm and is able to accelerate 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds. The Spyder takes 3.1 seconds to hot 62mph from stagnant position. Top speed is set at 202mph. The new Huracan Evo features several upgrades from Performante and comes with company’s next-generation Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) processing unit.
The said unit controls every aspect of the vehicle’s behaviour to offer unforgettable driving experience and performance. The second generation of the Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale (LPI) offers a range of accelerators and gyroscope sensors that monitor the vehicle’s lateral, longitudinal and vertical accelerations. It also looks into roll, pitch and yaw rate. If we compare 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo with original Huracan, then it offers an additional revised aero agenda which features an optimised floor, repositioned exhaust tips, a new integrated rear wing and a full-width rear diffuser.
The interior of 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo also gets several upgrades as it sports a new 8.4-inch touchscreen display in the center console with all desired connectivity options along with an optional dual-camera telemetry system. Price of the 2020 Huracan Evo starts from $261,274 for Coupe whereas Spyder is priced from $287,400 in US market. First customer deliveries will commence from this summer. As of 2018, US is largest for Lamborghini.
