Hyundai’s N Performance has been development phase for a long time. Now, they have come up with new N models which is getting compliments from all quarters. Brian Smith who is Hyundai’s North America chief operating officer said in an interview during New York Auto Show, that all-new Sonata with N-Line version is coming soon. It has created a buzz especially in the online realm. X-Tomi Design has come up with a rendered version of 2020 Hyundai Sonata N and gave us a glimpse what it may look like. The rendered image is based on one official image released during announcement of Sonata.
Official confirmation for the 2020 Hyundai Sonata N is yet to be provided by the company executives. The 2020 Sonata N is decked with several aggressive exterior features. It consists of a new front fascia with tweaked air intakes and an extended splitter painted red. In addition to it, there is a new hood incorporating a pair of small air vents which has been included to cool down the engine bay. As we have seen many N badged vehicles, the 2020 Hyundai Sonata N includes sporty black and silver wheels which is complemented by red brake calipers. On the base of the side skirts, a red accent running along the base.
Brian Smith said that output would be in excess of 275 horsepower. It is similar to the likes of range-topping version of i30 N, i30 Fastback N, and Veloster N. In other words, this performance focused Sonata will use the same powertrain. Before the launch of 2020 Hyundai Sonata N, buyers would be given two options in North America. The first is the 1.6-liter turbo (180 hp) and second is the 2.5-liter engine (191hp).
