Hyundai has revealed 2020 Sonata 1.6 Turbo at the 2019 Seoul Motor Show. Hyundai had earlier promised to add Turbo in the Sonata range. 2020 Hyundai Sonata 1.6 Turbo will be showcased along with new range of “N Performance” parts which will be launched next year. The power in 2020 Hyundai Sonata 1.6 Turbo comes from Smart Stream G1.6 T-GDI gasoline engine that offers 180hp. The engine is mated with eight-speed automatic transmission. To give 2020 Hyundai Sonata 1.6 Turbo a sporty aesthetics, few changes have been made to the exterior.
For instance, there is Hyundai’s first ‘Parametric Jewel’ grille that heightens bold stance of the sedan. Underneath the headlights, there is air ducts which are positioned along with unique wing-shaped rear spoiler, an exclusive rear bumper and twin-tip exhaust mufflers. Apart from 2020 Hyundai Sonata 1.6 Turbo, Veloster N will also be on display that comes with more than 45 ‘N Performance’ parts. It is set for official release by late 2019. It comprises of 14 driving performance parts such as lightweight forged wheels, larger brake calipers and brake pads. There is also high-performance suspension system, and high-performance tires. For visual enhancements, 11 styling parts that has real carbon fiber side skirt, diffuser and rear wing spoiler.
Alcantara and real carbon fiber inserts have been applied to 20 different parts such as sport bucket seats, steering wheel, parking brake, all the pillars, headlining and dashboard. Hyundai Veloster has matte grey finish with a yellow front splitter and mirror covers. At Hyundai’s booth, ‘NEXO Village’ and a ‘PLAY HYUNDAI’ exhibition concept will be featured. Technologies such as Digital Key, Built-in Cam, Voice Recognition Assistance Service and Passenger Comfort Seat will be on display.
