Few days back, we disclosed that 2020 Hyundai Palisade will make its debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. Fortunately, no one has to wait to have a first look of this flagship SUV. Official images of this three-row SUV have been revealed by a Russian website Auto Review. Judging by the first look, the new SUV takes a different path from traditional design. We have already shown you all heavily camouflaged version of the SUV and it’s time to see sans any hidden coating. 2020 Hyundai Palisade is inspired by HDC-2 Grandmaster Concept and is clearly visible.
With respect to styling cues, this eight-seater SUV takes a lot from current models such as the new Santa Fe. Features such as front end and prominent grille are few noticeable aspects that are similar to the smaller SUV. The similarity continues on the side profile too but everything behind C-Pillar looks different. With the new 2020 Palisade, Hyundai is trying to woo families who looks for spacious interior and can accommodate eight people with ease along with “appropriate” cargo space. South Korean automaker promises to offer premium materials, intelligent safety features and intuitive technologies.
At this point of time, many details are hidden from public. Nonetheless, 2020 Palisade will share platform with the 2020 Kia Telluride. Kia Telluride will debut next year at Detroit Auto Show. This model from Kia is powered with V6 engine which might be 3.3 liter V6 unit that is rated at 290hp and 341Nm of torque. 2020 Hyundai Palisade is expected to go on sale by next year in US.
