Ford has announced a series of revisions for 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350R. They are inspired by more powerful new Mustang GT500. Major changes in the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R consist of redesigned front suspension geometry that features new high-trail steering knuckle just like the latest GT500. Moreover, drivers would be encouraged to charge the corners more aggressively than before thanks to the new steering rack and recalibrated power steering control. Chief program engineer at Ford Performance, Ed Krenz said that it was always in their plan to take latest innovations from GT500 program and strategically implement across Mustang lineup.
He further added that latest updates on 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R will keep its performance competitive and on top its game whether it is on street or on the track. Elsewhere, Mustang Shelby GT350R carries forth aerodynamics and chassis from previous updates like the standard carbon fiber wheels, large front splitter, and rear wing. In an attempt to save extra weight, few drastic measures have been undertaken. For instance, rear seats and exhaust resonators are removed.
