Daihatsu debuted all-new Rocky on 5th November in Japan along with Toyota-badged twin Raize. 2020 Daihatsu Rocky and Raize are identical with respect to technical aspects. Both of them uses Daihatsu’s new Global Architecture (DNGA) and 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine (98hp). It is mated with D-CVT transmission and aesthetically looks identical. The only difference between is brand-specific badging and front-end design. 2020 Daihatsu Rocky consist of smaller grille than Toyota Raize and different front bumper. Ow, if we look at the rear, both of them looks similar apart from the badging.
It would in vane if we say that dimensions of 2020 Daihatsu Rocky and Raize are identical and actually it is. 2020 Rocky is 157.3-inch long, 66.7-inch wide and 63.8-inch tall. The story is same inside and the 2020 Rocky has identical dashboard and interior space. Cargo volume when all seats are in place is 369 liters. When rear seats are folded down, it offers more space. Daihatsu claims that Rocky has best passenger seats in this segment. 2020 Rocky offers an optional four-wheel drive system dubbed as Dynamic Torque Control 4WD and many Smart Assist features. This includes Crash Avoidance Braking Function, Erroneous Start Prevention Function with braking control (forward and backward), Adaptive Cruise Control with All Speed Tracking, and Smart Panorama Parking Assist.
