Chevrolet will unveil their latest work 2020 Silverado HD next year in the month of February. Automaker claims that it will take the mantle of most advanced Silverado HD ever. In the past 18 months, this is the third variant of Silverado we have come across. Assembly of 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD will take place in Flint factory in Michigan. When compared with its 1500 variants, 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD is entirely different. Nonetheless, just like the Silverado 1500, HD also gains 3 inches of legroom on cab crew model for more comfortable seating position.
Jaclyn McQuaid who is Silverado HD chief engineer said that they understand the need of heavy users and it differs from light and mid-duty buyers. Hence, the have developed heavy duty truck that is made keeping and it differentiates from light-duty models than ever before. 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD also comes with advanced towing technologies that improve towing confidence and includes new features such as integrated bedstep. It helps in easier access of bed while pulling a fifth-wheel trailer. 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD will be offered with two engine options when it is available next year.
One is the all-new gasoline engine with direct injection and is mated with six-speed manual transmission. The second is Duramax turbo-diesel V8 unit that offers a whopping 1,233Nm of torque to the wheels via a new Allison 10-speed gearbox. Additionally, new customer-focused trailering technology is included and helps to increase in towing and payload capabilities along with wide array of technologies designed for heavy duty vehicles. 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD will go on sale from mid-2019.
