Last month, amidst fanfare Chevrolet revealed new Corvette. Now, General Motors President, Mark Reuss promised that 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 will start under $60,000 and the official pricing released seemed to keep this promise. 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT is priced $59,995, including destination fees of $1,095. For this price, several gears have been included such as keyless entry and push-button start, dual-zone climate control, 8-inch infotainment system, 12-inch instrument cluster display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bose premium sound system. There is also cruise control and 8-way power seats wrapped in Mulan leather.
2020 Corvette 1LT version also offers launch control, drive mode selector with Tour, Sport, Track, Weather, MyMode and Z-Mode driving modes with small block 6.2-liter V8 unit. This mid-engine produces an output of 490hp and 630 Nm of torque. It is mated with eight-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission that channels power to rear wheels. Other variants consist of 2020 Chevrolet Corvette 2LT and 3LT that is priced from $67,295 and $71,945 respectively. 2020 Corvette 2LT offers a heated steering wheel and heated and ventilated seats, head-up display, wireless charging pad, navigation system, auto-dimming rear camera mirror, memory seats, more speakers for the Bose audio, universal home remote, SiriusXM sat-radio with 1-year subscription, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert and others.
2020 Chevrolet Corvette 3LT will gain GT2 seats with Nappa and Mulan leather and carbon fiber trim and custom leather for rest of the interior. Buyers can also consider Z51 Performance Package for all trims and is priced at $5,000. It includes a front splitter and rear spoiler, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, enhanced cooling, front brake cooling inlets, and larger brake discs. It also has performance exhaust system and suspension with manually adjustable threaded spring seats, along with electronic limited-slip differential. With this Z51 Performance Package, Corvette Stingray is able to accelerate to 60mph in under 3 seconds. Performance exhaust system improves output by 5hp and 7Nm of torque that can be ordered for $1,195. Production of Corvette Stingray will begin by this year’s end at their Kentucky facility.
