One of the most anticipated debuts for next year is 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8. This led to many reports that surfaces online, some of them might be completely untrue. As expected, not everyone is worth mentioning, but we have new report that offers fresh information about the mid-engine Corvette. Since, recent report suggests that there were some kind of electric issue with Corvette, the debut was delayed. Hence, 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 won’t attend next month’s Detroit Auto Show. GM Authority mentions that 2019 New York Auto Show is also out of question. We are expecting mid-engine Corvette to arrive somewhere between in second half of April.
GM Authority cites an unnamed source who is close to the information that Chevrolet has opted for a standalone event next summer for C8. If we take all these under our consideration, we are anticipating that mid-engine to debut by May. In related news, GM’s Vice Chairman, Bob Lutz shares is opinion regarding the pricing of 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8. In a column Road and Track’s, December 18/ January 19 Edition, Bob Lutz said that their goal is to sell C8, version of version, a little more than C7. Three months back in an interview to Autoline, he said that C8 would be costlier than C7 by $5,000.
In other words, 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 could start around or under $70,000. We are not sure how much Bob Lutz has information has about C8, but he definitely knows more than any journalists. High-performance version of Corvette C8 would be certainly higher than entry level models. The range-topping version will arrive in two to three years’ time and would just like be current ZR1. Since, we don’t have actual image of 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8, we are presenting three different rendering images of the C8.
