There are many rendered versions of the Chevrolet Corvette C8 and it is not surprising that we have another one. We will have to wait further to see 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 supercar actually looks. It is expected this mid-engine supercar will be revealed by next year by that time we have to content by looking at these rendering images. Artist around the globe is attempting their best to come up with the close rendering of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 and one such artist posted it on MidEngineCorvetteForum. Name of the member is listed as FirstVetteSoon (FVS).
The artist gives it another look to the design and has a solution for an insignificant problem which is front license plate holder. This may seem trivial issue to some but is a huge concern for many. There are 31 states where buyers to put front license plate as law requires them to do so. These buyers are thus concerned about Chevrolet’s approach in this matter. Artist in his rendering images ensured that this issue has been sorted out atleast virtually. FVS incorporated C8 Vette with a front plate holder that fits perfectly in the middle of the central air intake.
Chevrolet also did the same thing with the C7, so don’t be surprised if 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 also goes to the same route. Chevrolet went for an elegant solution for the license plate where 19 states don’t require it. Chevrolet will also adopt removable “aero cover” for 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8. This is the first time in American history that they are ditching front engine layout in place of the mid-engine layout.
