BMW has announced the pricing details of the facelifted version of 2020 X1 for the United States, shortly after it was shared for European and Australian market. Only two version of 2020 BMW X1 will be available in US which are the sDrive28i and xDrive28i. Both of these models are fitted with turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine that delivers 228hp. The only difference between them is that sDrive28i is front-wheel drive and xDrive28i is all-wheel drive. Both of them shares an eight-speed automatic transmission.
BMW claims that all-wheel drive version is able to reach 60mph in a respectable 6.3 seconds which won’t be tested by many users. Buyers who are looking to purchase 2020 BMW X1 sDrive28i will have to shell out $36,195, an increase of $250 over its pre-lifted model. Similarly, xDrive28i gets $250 bumps and now is available for $38,195. For other markets such as Australia, 2020 BMW X1 gains sDrive18i, sDrive18d, sDrive20i, and xDrive25i trims. Local price may vary between $44,500 and $62,900.
US buyers of 2020 BMW X1 can chose between sDrive28i or xDrive28i models can be fitted with M Sport package and for the 2020 model year. They will have three additional color options to choose from which are Jucaro Beige, Misano Blue, and Storm Bay with Estoril Blue removed from the list. All 2020 BMW X1 models will receive 8.8-inch infotainment screen as standard with complete navigation and Apple CarPlay. The duo can be obtained with leather upholstery for the seats and also on the lower dash and door panels.
