One of the most anticipated cars of this year was none other than 2020 BMW M2 CS. It went official last week and is a last hurrah to the 2-Series Coupe. Soon, production of the outgoing iteration ends and will on sale for one model year only. Hence, if you are eager to put 2020 BMW M2 CS in your garage act fast on it and check your finances beforehand. German buyers of new BMW M2 CS will have to shell out €95,000. Price is quite closer to the Porsche 911 Carrera which is priced from €104,655. UK buyers of 2020 BMW M2 CS would have to pay £75,320.
We are not aware about the pricing of BMW M2 CS in US, but it is certainly going to be expensive than the current M2 Competition that is priced $58,900. 2020 BMW M2 CS comes with 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six engine that has been tuned to offer 444hp and 550 Nm of torque. Power is transferred to rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. However, if you don’t like manual transmission, BMW is also offering an optional seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
All these changes make 2020 M2 CS quite powerful. It can hit 0-62mph in just 4.0 seconds and with DCT, time is reduced to 3.8 seconds. Top speed remains same and stands at 174 mph. BMW is likely to conduct several media drive for M2 CS next year and its production is scheduled for the month of March. But for now, you have content with official launch film.
