Acura NSX is entering 2020 MY and comes with a fresh coat of paint that reminiscence of original NSX. Spa Yellow was fifth most popular color and was offered on 1997-2003 NSX but only lucky individuals got their hands on it. Now, Honda’s luxury brand is bringing back Indy Yellow Pearl to join Berlina Black as one of the two heritage colors. Black Shade won’t cost you an extra but opting for the new hue will set back an additional $1,000 excluding vehicle’s MSRP $157,500 plus $1,995 handling and destination fees. There are more expensive color options for the 2020 Acura NSX apart from the Yellow Pearl that are Valencia Red Pearl and Nouvelle Blue Pearl. They are available for a substantial $6,000.
Spa Yellow which is also known as Indy Yellow in some countries was one of the two shades of yellow offered for the first-generation NSX. Twenty percent customers who purchased 2020 Acura NSX between 1997 and 2003 chose this shade. Eventually, Acura replaced it with Rio yellow that lasted for two production years from 2004 to 2005. 2020 Acura NSX is powered with similar twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine complemented by three electric motors. It is mated with nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and is all-wheel drive. For 2020 model year, customer can join NSX Insider Experience that enables buyers to actively participate in making the supercar for a starting price of $2,700 and choice between six different packages.
Each client can get one-on-one tour at their facilities based in Ohio and take tour of Acura’s Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC). To sweeten the deal, Acura give a change to take NSX to track on one of the proving grounds where NSX was developed and tested. A professional driver would be present to teach owner to make most out of the supercar.
