Toyota is making some changes to the C-HR family and the most noticeable is the new entry-level guide. Dubbed as LE, it is priced from $21,990 and it includes destination fees of $1,045. Thus, 2019 Toyota C-HR is now more affordable than the current XLE. Its main rival Honda HR-V has a price of $19,670MSRP. If a customer opts for 2019 Toyota C-HR LE they will have to be content without some features that is present in the XLE. For example, instead of 18 inch rims, they will have to work with 17 inch and can choose from white or black roof with Blue Flame exterior color.
However, the new base model doesn’t cut back on safety features and it includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams and adaptive cruise control. Nonetheless, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert is missing from LE. But it can be obtained on XLE or Limited trim at no additional cost. Toyota has widened the gap between new LE and the current XLE by increasing the price of the latter by $530. With this extra amount, customers would be getting smart key, auto-folding side mirrors, lighted vanity mirrors, puddle illumination and 18 inch alloy wheels.
2019 Toyota C-HR Limited is priced from $27,045. This Limited trim constitutes of leather trim, seat back pockets, power lumbar support for driver’s seat and improved infotainment. As an option, rain sensing wipers and Entune 3.0 Premium can be acquired. Entune 3.0 Premium brings Wi-Fi support and dynamic navigation. This feature is only available on the Limited variant. Apart from it, this new trim gains few exterior updates like the red bumper garnish, piano black B pillars and chrome window trim.
