After set of tests, Porsche has taken the veil off the 2019 911 GT3 which is built upon street-legal 911 GT3 RS. 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R is all prepared for 201 9season and it will have added advantage over others via lightweight body construction with aluminium steel composite. It also features CFRP hood, roof, fairing, wheel arches, doors, side and tail section. Porsche even claimed that side windows and doors can be fully removed and has polycarbonate windows. The cockpit has been redesigned and it comprises of realigned controls. It has bucket seats with six-harness and adjustable pedal box.
To make it stiffer, carbon fiber Kevlar aluminum construction with energy-absorbing plastic foam within the driver’s door. It helps in safeguarding the driver in an event of crash. For the first, 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R is coming with air conditioner so that driver is cooled and can concentrate behind the wheel. Porsche in a statement said that interior cooling is directly connected to the seat and driver’s helmet and it fulfils efficient cooling. 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R has gone through some changes especially in the aerodynamics. The aerodynamics performance has been improved and increased circumference for the front wheels from 25.6 to 26.8 inch.
The power in the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R comes from naturally aspirated 4.0 liter flat-six engine that is rear-mounted and is water cooled. The engine generates 542 horsepower and the power is channelled via six-speed gearbox. The safety fuel cell has the capacity of 120 liters which helps the car to spend less time on lap. The price of 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 R starts from €459,000 in Germany without taxes. The first deliveries will commence from the month of December.
