Mitsubishi has significantly improved the 2019 Outlander when it comes to design and also mechanicals parts. 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV includes 2.4 liter engine and is now more powerful as it offers 133 horsepower and 211Nm of torque. Earlier the figure stood at 119 horsepower and 190Nm of torque. There is also electric motor that churns out 94 horsepower and transfers the power it to rear axles. However, that’s not all as battery power has been increased by 10 per cent. Additionally because of the new cells, the overall capacity is 13.8 kWh.
The setup allows 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV to reach the electric top speed of 84mph which was at 78mph. The top speed of 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is 106mph and the acceleration time for 0-62mph is 10.5 seconds (less by 0.5 seconds). The zero-emission range of 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SUV is 28 miles according to WLTP tests. The “Snow” mode improves low-grip launching and cornering ability on slippery surfaces whereas “Sport” helps sharper throttle response and more grip. There is also two-tone 18 inch multi-spoke alloys, bumper extension, new fog lamp bezels, new front end, a redesigned grille and tweaked LED headlights. The interior now has new front seats which have lateral supports, overhauled instrument cluster, and new toggle switch for the Super-All Wheel Control system. The launch of facelifted Mitsubishi Outlander will be in the month of September for European and North American market. Specifications and pricing details will be revealed as launch date nears.
