Mercedes have finally unveiled the all new A-Class at a glittering event. 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class has now more sophisticated look than its predecessor and now comes with efficient engines. Other than engine and look, Mercedes also adds more safety and convenience technology. 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class encompasses the company’s next step towards design philosophy of Sensual Purity. Aggressive lines from the third-generation of the vehicle are missing and in its place there is now elegant and sensual aesthetics just like the new CLS. The bonnet in 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class steeps down heavily that give more dynamic appearance.
It has progressive front end along with flat LED headlights (with chrome elements) and torch-like DRL’s. The rear end is slim and has two-section taillights and gives it a muscular overview. The interior have gone through drastic changes and shows how far Mercedes have come through. The cabin has “avante grade” look and dashboard has wing-shaped and extends from door to door. Ambient lighting makes the journey pleasurable and is available in 64 colors. One of the most interesting aspects of the interior is the free-standing widescreen display. It will compete against the likes of Audi A3, Infiniti Q30, BMW 1-Series and Volvo V40.
The power in the A-Class comes in two petrol and one diesel engine unit. A 200 and A 250 will come in petrol variant and A 180 d in diesel unit. Mercedes A 200 uses 1.4 liter four-cylinder engine that churns out 160hp and 250Nm of torque. The engine can be mated with 7G-DCT dual clutch automatic or a six-speed manual. Mercedes A 250 comes with 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine that gives 221hp and 350nm of torque. The four-cylinder diesel engine uses 1.5 liter engine that gives 114hp and 260Nm of torque. A 250 and A 180 d is offered with 7G-DCT gearbox. Customers can also opt for 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be available for sale from next month.
