McLaren is expanding their Sport Series lineup with the introduction of 720S Spider. It follows the debut of track focused Senna and three-seater Speedtail. 2019 McLaren 720S Spider apes performance of the coupe. The droptop version has similar front fascia but has distinct headlights. Major changes in 2019 McLaren 720S Spider is near the A-Pillar with retractable hard top that is made from single carbon fiber roof panel. McLaren claims that hard top is the fastest operating convertible roof in superclass segment. It can be lowered and raised in 11 seconds at speed up to 31mph.
