Redesigned 2019 Lexus ES is set to arrive at US dealership soon. It made its debut at 2018 Beijing Auto Show and will go on sale from this September. 2019 Lexus ES will be made available in three trim levels which are ES 350, ES 300h and ES 350 F Sport. The base model is priced from $39,500 and is expensive by $550 from earlier model. Mid-range 2019 Lexus ES 300h is $510 cheaper than the previous version and is priced from $41,310. Lexus ES 350 F Sport is priced at $44,035. It is cheaper by $13,450 when compared with Mercedes-Benz E-Class and by $13,900 when compared with BMW 5-Series.
2019 Lexus ES 350 is powered with 3.5 liter V6 unit and offers 302hp and 362Nm of torque. The engine is mated with eight-speed automatic gearbox in place of obsolete six-speed unit. It channels the output to the front wheels. Fuel efficiency of ES 350 according to EPA is 22/33/26 mpg in city, highway and combined. 2019 Lexus ES 300h is powered using hybrid 2.5 liter inline-four internal combustion unit along with electric motor. Fuel efficiency of this engine is 43/45/44 mpg. ES 350 also comes with V6 unit but F Sport trim adds few additional features.
There is an optional Adaptive Variable Suspension from the LC and LS. Exterior and interior is also sportier. The estimated mileage of F Sport model is 22/31/25 mpg for city, highway and combined. Every version of 2019 Lexus ES will receive Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 as standard. It includes driving assistance gear like the daytime bicyclist detection and low light pedestrian detection. 2019 Lexus ES is also the first product from the company to include Apple CarPlay and Amazon-enabled Alexa.
