The veils of the 2019 BMW Z4 has been finally taken off. It will remain faithful to the concept car which showed to us last year. However, it excludes folding hard-top and included traditional canvas roof. 2019 BMW Z4 was showed to the world at Pebble Beach in form of range-topping M40i guise. If that’s the case, it will be powered with 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine under the bonnet that produces an output of 335hp. Since, it is a part of “M Performance”, 2019 BMW Z4 will also get chassis that is oriented towards driver inspired setup. It includes M-tuned sports suspension with active dampers, bigger brakes and an electronically controlled rear differential.
During the press release, BMW didn’t official figures and figures haven’t been disclosed. All these details will be revealed on 18th September. Nonetheless, 2019 BMW Z4 M40i is able to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 4.4 seconds. The special first Edition arrives with specific design and equipment. For instance, there is Frozen Orange Metallic paint, the High Gloss Shadow Line, the black exterior mirror caps, the 19 inch two-tone alloys and anthracite soft top with silver effect which is some of the few indicators for the First Edition.
The interior of 2019 BMW Z4 First Edition has Vernasca Black leather with decorative stitching, electrically operated seats, a Harman Kardon Surround System along with BMW’s latest Live Cockpit setup. This setup combines two HD digital displays for the instrument cluster and the infotainment along with head-up display (first for any BMW roadster). Launch of 2019 BMW Z4 in US is schedule for spring 2019. Range-topping M40i along with First Edition is set to arrive in second quarter of this year.
