Those who are tempted in buying the new 2019 Audi e-Tron can now book it as the company have started its reservation process. InsideEVs quoted directly from the official document and suggests that the price of this SUV starts from €80,000 in Germany. At current exchange rate, the price stands at $98,758. It is Audi’s first attempt at electric SUV and is anticipated that cost in US will be an extra $100,000. If this speculation turns out to be true, then it will be expensive than Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Model X. Jaguar I-Pace has the starting price of $70,495 whereas Model X starts from $80,700 excluding incentives.
In a statement, Volkswagen said there are huge demands for e-Tron SUV is many markets and over 3,700 reservations has already been made in Norway. At the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, its near production-ready form was shown to the world. The testing of 2019 Audi e-Tron will continue this summer. Production version of 2019 Audi e-Tron will be shown in Brussels, Belgium on 30th August. The deliveries of 2019 Audi e-Tron will start by the end of this year as it hits the assembly line by second half of 2018.
Even though any technical specifications of this electric SUV has not been revealed but the company did disclosed that it will have fast charging technology. It is speculated it will follow the footsteps of E-Tron Quattro Concept and might include three electric motors that will produce in excess of 400hp of output. On a single charge, it will have a range of 310 miles and will be accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds. After 2019 Audi e-Tron SUV, German automaker will introduce e-Tron Sportback in 2019.
